But more than often it is the lack of dedication and consistency which leads to the failure of various kinds of health programs.

Health programs include a package of exercises, diets, weight loss techniques and other similar options to combat the problems of obesity. But more than often people fail to follow these programs regularly. Hence it becomes essential that such people have a support group for helping them abide the program and weight loss schedule. The weight loss sessions are difficult to follow if you have friends who are eating pizzas in front of you while you are on a diet.

Weight loss support does not always mean having a professional trainer or personal assistance to help you remind about exercises. But it is essential that support group consists of people at work, friends and family members. There are no restrictions on who can be a part of your support group for loosing weight. The support group can be a morning walk or evening walk group which you join. Here the groups have targets like completing certain number of rounds or miles, and then there are competitions on losing weight, etc.

The support group is the ideal way to motivate the person who is dieting or trying to lose weight. Usually being alone in a weight loss program can be a difficult task for a person. The problem is aggravated if their friends and peers are not a part of the program. The most common problem faced by such people is that they lack the right support which would keep them motivated to their targets.

The support group can consist of a colleague who is willing to walk back home with you after work or have a low cal lunch with you. It is always more interesting to share your diet plan with someone else who is also interested in loosing weight. Hence try and make your spouse, colleague or friend join your diet plan so that you don't feel alone while following the same and there is someone to boost your motivation levels.

Exercising can also be made more fun if you are joined by friends. So try and ask a friend to join the gym or yoga class with you. You can also make your friends at the gym or class so that you can share the problems of weight loss program. Any person who is trying to help you maintain a regular health program and loose weight is the support group that you are looking for.

With the help of this support group the target of achieving the weight loss goal, diet and health can be maintained. Fighting fat can be done best when you have peers and friends to support you through these tough times of fighting obesity.
